Locked In
What do you do if you are locked in a furniture store? After panicking and calling for help, help 😀, I realize I left my phone in the car. The car happily greets me from the outside and blinks in joy whenever I press the car key. A quick look around, I see they have beds, an almost full water cooler with one single plastic cup, a bowl of starlight peppermints, and on the ceiling, I see a sign: Restrooms. I guess I am safe here in case it gets dark. Another question shot into my head: What if I am lying on the bed in the window and people pass by while doing some window shopping? I pull myself together and focuse on the moment. Luckily, I have my camera with me.
I start walking around. With so much time, I am able to look at furniture and check out the beautiful details. There are so many great pieces of art allover. I like to share a few pictures with you showing you that it is fascinating to be inside a fine furniture store. These are just a few examples of what caught my eye.
Enjoy.
* A note from the book publisher: it happened in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on a sunny and windy Wednesday morning in March. However, the story is complete fiction.
